SwitchEasy RebelTouch Cover for iPod touch (2nd gen.), Red SW-REB-T-R Review
I am a fan of SwitchEasy covers for iPod touch 2/3 gen. I only buy their covers. I have an iPod Touch 3rd gen and when i bought it (last October), i had bought the Arctic cover, and i recently just ordered this one (2 days ago)and received it today. I love it, it was shipped fast, i didn't even have to pay for express, and it came in good condition. I seen many YouTube videos & comments of the people complaining about bottom (dock port) part being saggy, well mines isn't and i am so glad that mines didn't came with that flaw because some do at time. It came perfect, it fitted even better then when i first bought the Arctic one. It just snapped on quickly it was no trouble putting it on, nor taking it off, which i did to test out a white backbone piece i had also purchased to be able to mix n' match. I absolutely love my iPod even more now. This is a nice cover & VERY protective. I am not very clumsy but (sitting down) my iPod once slipped from my lap and the iPod was perfectly fine. Screen Protectors, well i didn't use them because i prefer DLO ones, the anti-glare, they are PERFECT! and you end up with a nice fit & no bubbles. When i bought the SwitchEasy Arctic cover and used the screen protectors that came with it, the first one was a mess i couldn't put it on, it got messed up with particles, and the second one stayed with bubbles and eventually the sticky part started becoming UN-sticky and so (recently) i had to buy DLO ones, love it, that product looks great with this cover.
TIP: To put the backbone piece on, you place the top part (power button)of the cover on your iPod, push your iPod up in the cover, don't push all the "hooks" from one sides, snap them on by row, as in snap the left then the right, then go on the next row...etc). If you don't know how to take the backbone piece off, just begin with a bottom (dock port) side,snap off a bottom side, then snap off the second one above it and do the same with the other bottom side and then just snap the rest off, its easy :)
