Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod touch 1G (Clear)

Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod touch 1G (Clear) Review

Can't go wrong with a Belkin.
I got the box in the mail, and it was a tough one to open. Once I got it out of the packaging however, it was really easy and simple to slip my ipod inside. Haven't had any issues with the case thus far, it's relatively easy to get the ipod out if I want to. Easy headphone and port access. I'm not sure how compatible this case is with docks, though- so if you use a dock you're on your own. From the photos I expected this to be a solid/hard plastic shell. Although it's not rubbery, it's a softer plastic than I expected. Less of a nalgene feel and more of a ketchup bottle feel. It's providing great protection already. There is no screen cover which for me is a plus since I use an invisi shield from zagg.com. Overall, a stellar product for a relatively moderate cost.

Pros:
- Easy insert/withdrawl of iPod from case
- great coverage
- Does not add significant weight or bulk to iPod
- Easy to access all parts of the screen
- Holds Ipod securely (no jiggle or wiggle)

Cons:
- Softer plastic than I had expected
- Hinge on the top of case can be annoying + cumbersome at times
- Belt clip that comes with it is a joke (pops off VERY easily)

Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod touch 1G (Clear) Feature

• Protects with durable, clear-acrylic material
• True-sense click-wheel protection
• Access to ports and dock connector
• Slim profile keeps iPod easily pocketable
• Comes with a lifetime warranty

Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod touch 1G (Clear) Overview

Slip your iPod right into your pocket, without the added bulk, with this sleek, sturdy plastic case. The case also provides full access to ports and navigation.

Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod touch 1G (Clear) Specifications

Amazon.com Product Description

The Belkin Remix Acrylic for iPod touch offers: Full protection for your iPod touch. A detachable belt clip that doubles as a viewing stand. Accessibility to all ports and controls.

The clear case preserves the iPod's looks. View larger.

The Remix Acrylic for iPod touch by Belkin is a hard case for the iPod touch made of clear acrylic that preserves the good looks of the iPod touch while providing maximum protection against scratches and scuffs. A snug fit means the iPod won't jostle when inside the case and with a very slim profile, it won't take up too much room in your pocket or purse.

The case allows full access to all ports, the dock connector, the screen, and the home button, so you'll have no problems navigating through the iPod's menus and you never have to take the iPod out of the case.

A great feature is the detachable belt clip that doubles as a viewing stand; it allows you to watch videos hands-free, and with an adjustable viewing angle, you'll always have a good picture. The Belkin Remix Acrylic for iPod touch is backed by Belkin's Lifetime Warranty.
